About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform all cost activities related to Personal & Private Banking segments
- Review and analyze cost lines to identify major or unusual month-on-month movements
- Manage the division's accruals process to ensure expenses and income are accrued in alignment with accounting standards
- Manage monthly manual adjustments as part of month-end reviews
- Review purchase requisitions and conduct business finance reviews on budget availability
- Coordinate for new Chart of Account requirements
- Perform provision accounting processes for income and expenses
- Reconcile all suspense accounts under ownership of the unit
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Accounting/Finance
- CA/ACCA/CPA certification preferred
- Around 5+ years of working experience within banking in similar roles
- Strong understanding of Retail banking business
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure within tight timelines
