About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell core products and encourage cross-selling of direct sales products in assigned territory
- Manage and motivate a sales team to meet or exceed monthly targets
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with customers and internal departments
- Develop new business strategies to increase bank profitability and visibility
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and compliance guidelines
- Provide regular MIS reports on performance and market feedback to senior management
- Coordinate promotional activities, meetings, and road shows
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years of experience in selling banking products or within the financial industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Comprehensive sales and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in PC skills and organizational tools
- Knowledge of bank retail products and market competition
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales diploma or certification
- Experience in a similar job area
