AVP, Business Unit Control

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reporting and support services for Global Markets and Group Treasury
• Perform P&L reporting decomposition, attribution, and variance analysis
• Reconcile and substantiate P&L and Balance Sheet between General Ledger and source systems
• Act as a finance business partner to the Front Office, Market Risk, and Group Treasury
• Manage daily revenue reporting and ensure integrity of source system interfaces
• Support new business requests and ensure compliance with existing system architecture
• Manage projects driven by new regulatory requirements in local and international locations
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to mitigate risk

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a Product Control function
• Technical knowledge in pricing and accounting for Fixed Income, MM, FX, IR, Com, Equities, and Derivatives
• Strong understanding of Global Markets and Investment Banking products
• Proficiency in financial math including zero, par, and forward curves
• Experience developing financial and MI reporting and automating processes
• Understanding of modern governance, risk, and control assessment techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified Professional (ACA, CFA, or MBA in Finance)
• Working knowledge of Murex, OneSumX, PowerBI, or T24 systems
