AVP, Compliance Systems Monitoring and Validation - Fircosoft

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive validation of sanctions screening models, including data integrity, model performance, and output accuracy
• Develop and implement validation methodologies and frameworks in line with industry best practices
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess model risk and performance
• Collaborate with model developers and compliance teams to address validation findings
• Create periodic review plans and report status to senior management
• Track and ensure timely closure of pending issues identified in previous reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Financial Crime Technology and Analytics
• Proficiency in data modeling and programming languages such as Java or Python
• Strong knowledge of Fircosoft products (Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, Firco Screen and Keep)
• Experience with SQL queries and database management
• Understanding of sanctions regulations (OFAC, EU, CBUAE)
• Certification in ACAMS, CGSS, or ICA is an advantage
