About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze high-ticket self-employed and rental-backed mortgage proposals
- Manage underwriting team performance and maintain underwriting standards
- Minimize credit risk through effective risk review and prudent DOA usage
- Prepare and present credit memos for escalation of high-ticket cases
- Improve Turnaround Time (TAT) and operational efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with KYC, documentation, and C2P2 requirements
- Lead the Credit Secured Products department through performance management and staff development
- Establish strong working relationships with collections, remedial management, and product teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of relevant banking experience
- At least 3 years in a similar leadership or supervisory role
- Proven experience in team and process management
