AVP, Project Governance & Commercialization

Responsibilities

• Own the governance framework for the Transformation portfolio, including intake, prioritization, and stage gates
• Maintain an integrated portfolio view covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and budgets
• Establish and run governance forums with clear agendas and decision papers
• Develop robust business cases and commercialization plans to articulate strategic alignment and financial value
• Partner with Finance and business owners to validate initiative economics and track value realization
• Drive prioritization of the transformation pipeline using transparent criteria
• Coordinate across Business, Digital, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to resolve dependencies
• Provide concise, decision-oriented reporting to the Transformation Lead and senior governance forums

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in transformation, strategy, portfolio governance, program management, or consulting
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional portfolios and executive governance
• Strong command of portfolio governance, program management disciplines, and financial analysis
• Ability to convert complex information into clear executive insights and management reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or recognized project/portfolio management certification
• Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Experience with portfolio reporting and visualization tools
