Azure Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions in Azure Government environments aligned to business requirements
• Produce architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation roadmaps
• Implement security and compliance frameworks including Zero Trust, RBAC, MFA, and Key Vault
• Design cloud-native application architectures using Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, AKS, and integration services
• Establish technical standards and conduct architecture reviews
• Guide engineering teams and ensure design compliance
• Integrate AI capabilities and Generative AI/LLM solutions into enterprise architectures using Azure AI services
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

Requirements

• Strong experience designing solutions in Azure Government environments
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity, compute, and platform services
• Understanding of government compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, and FedRAMP
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern application patterns
• Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation approaches
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and Copilot-based solutions
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or previous government program experience
• Azure Architect certifications
• Experience with Azure Gov, GCC High, or regulated cloud environments
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or AI-enabled application development
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives
