About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve new features for mission-critical financial systems
- Ensure production systems meet rigorous non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, security, availability, resilience
- Monitor application performance and behavior after deployment
- Maintain traceability of changes through clear, up-to-date documentation
- Actively collaborate in code reviews and drive technical evolution of the ecosystem
Requirements
- Solid software development experience with Go (Golang)
- Quality mindset: automated testing and continuous code inspection
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Command of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Proactive mindset to identify process or architecture gaps and propose solutions
- Eagerness to learn and adaptability to new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of or interest in financial markets, especially fixed income and settlement
- Experience with public or private cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack)
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, IBM MQ)
- Familiarity with advanced architectural patterns (Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, Lambda Architecture)
- Practice with NoSQL data modeling
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps
