About the role
About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the bar team to maintain high standards of service
- Oversee daily bar operations including inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop new cocktails and beverage menus
- Resolve escalated guest complaints promptly to uphold satisfaction
- Prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and company standards
- Assess guests' needs and offer tailored recommendations
- Ensure the bar counter is clean and well-maintained
- Handle payments and accurately charge customers according to procedures
- Check identification to confirm legal drinking age requirements
Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in bartending and bar management in luxury hospitality
- Expert-level knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, and wine
- Proficiency in managing inventory control and minimizing waste
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems and financial procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal bartending certification
- Recognized hospitality management training
