Barback

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware and bar supplies throughout service
• Keep ice wells, speed rails and service stations fully stocked and organised
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, fridges, equipment and surrounding areas
• Assist bartenders with beverage prep, garnish preparation and basic drink assembly
• Support with deliveries, stock rotation, storage and inventory counts
• Communicate low stock levels and equipment issues to the bar team promptly
• Complete opening, closing and deep-cleaning duties to required standards

Requirements

• Previous barback, bar or F&B experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry and work at pace for long shifts
• Basic knowledge of bar tools, glassware, spirits and beverage handling
• Strong teamwork, communication and sense of urgency
• Good understanding of hygiene and food-safety practices
• Eagerness to learn mixology and progress into a bartender role
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
