Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
• Ensure drinks are served in proper glassware with appropriate garnishes
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, new trends, and popular cocktails
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner
• Take drink and food orders and serve them promptly
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Restock supplies including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
• Check customer IDs to verify legal drinking age and comply with local laws
• Monitor bar tabs, collect payments, and handle cash or credit card transactions
• Follow health and safety protocols for food and beverage handling
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown for special events

Requirements

• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
• Good communication and customer contact skills
• Basic F&B product knowledge
• Previous experience in bartending or a related field preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
