Base Country Lead, UAE

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary ambassador for Base in the UAE
• Incubate and grow the local Base community
• Run innovative growth initiatives to onboard developers and users
• Design and execute builder go-to-market strategies and programs (e.g. buildathons, launchpads, fellowships)
• Support builders through mentorship and grant funding
• Identify and develop local partnerships with apps, accelerators, VCs, and distribution partners
• Recruit and manage local community members to meet evolving needs
• Share market intelligence, community, and product feedback with the Base global team

Requirements

• Operational experience in a crypto startup or project (founder, early team, community/growth lead)
• Deep connectivity in and knowledge of local crypto, startup, and developer market
• Self-starter who is solutions-oriented and relentless
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong passion for building a global onchain economy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling community-driven projects
• Experience running GTM and activation campaigns for developers
• Experience setting up and managing startup programs (e.g. accelerators, incubators)
