Blockchain Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core blockchain modules
• Perform system maintenance and performance optimization
• Track industry technical developments and implement practical applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of development experience with blockchain underlying development experience
• Proficiency in Go and Rust (required)
• Familiarity with Linux system programming, processes, threads, and network IO
• Mastery of P2P network protocols (libp2p, Kademlia) and Gossip propagation mechanisms
• Understanding of consensus mechanisms such as PoW, PoS, PBFT, and HotStuff
• Familiarity with CosmosSDK principles and code
• Proficiency in cryptography including Keccak, ECDSA, EdDSA, BLS, secp256k1, zkSNARK, and zkSTARK
• Knowledge of data structures including Merkle Tree, Patricia Trie, and Verkle Tree
• Proficiency with LevelDB/RocksDB for state storage, snapshots, and pruning
• Understanding of EVM working principles, Gas models, and security
• Familiarity with Docker/K8s for network deployment and testing
• Mastery of CI/CD and performance tuning tools like perf and pprof

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SVM and WASM
• Experience with Layer2 (Rollup, state channels), cross-chain protocols (IBC, XCMP), data availability (Celestia), or privacy technologies (ZKP circuit design)
• Proficiency in the Substrate framework
