About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Helix Core server environments, managing users, repositories, and permissions
- Implement and optimize workflows for code branching, merging, and release management
- Monitor system performance and conduct health checks to ensure high availability
- Collaborate with development teams on version control and code integration best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Helix
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for Helix repositories
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Helix administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Helix Core platform and its administrative functions
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and development lifecycles
- Familiarity with Git or SVN
- Strong communication skills and ability to train others
What we look for
