Bookkeeper, Ventures

Responsibilities

• Maintain separate, accurate books for the Ventures entity and each portfolio company
• Reconcile bank accounts, cards, online store sales, and payment gateways
• Manage customer and supplier invoices and prepare payment schedules
• Maintain inventory and product-cost records with the operations team
• Record intercompany transactions and approved cost allocations
• Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash reports
• Organize records for tax filings and audits, flagging errors and duplicate payments early

Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail regarding records and reconciliations
• Proven experience managing bookkeeping and month-end work for multiple businesses
• Experience in e-commerce, inventory, or consumer-product sectors
• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or equivalent accounting systems
• Practical experience preparing UAE VAT records
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage
