About the role
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document and validate business and functional requirements from CMS stakeholders
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams and functional specifications
- Write and maintain test cases and test data traced to user stories and business rules
- Perform manual and functional testing, including regression and exploratory testing
- Log and track defects through resolution and retest fixes
- Support production issue investigation, root cause analysis and UAT
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a Business Analyst on enterprise software
- 2+ years of manual or functional testing of web-based enterprise applications
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar defect tools
- Experience with Scrum or SAFe delivery teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust designation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CMS, HHS or other federal civilian agencies
- Familiarity with HIOS or healthcare regulatory systems
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr or Xray
- CBAP, PMI-PBA or Agile Business Analyst certification
Benefits
- Competitive salary of $110,000 to $125,000 depending on experience
