Business Development Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior members of the Business Development team to build and deepen investor relationships
• Develop strong AQR product and asset class knowledge
• Update marketing materials and coordinate the distribution of white papers, webinars, and analysis
• Ensure completion of Requests for Proposal/Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires
• Interact with portfolio managers to maintain high-quality presentation materials
• Act as a point of contact for existing investors and coordinate responses to inquiries
• Coordinate client meetings and conference calls
• Assist the MD in the development and execution of sales strategies in the Middle East and for Sovereign Wealth Funds
• Cover a meaningful amount of the Tier 2 and 3 client base within the first 18 months

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Science, Quantitative, or Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant post-undergraduate experience in professional services, financial services, or investment management
• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s Degree
• Arabic language proficiency
