Business Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Own Soter's distribution and market development strategy across the MENA region
• Build and manage a panel of international and regional specialty brokers
• Source and drive submission flow from broker channels and direct clients
• Educate the market through product training and thought leadership
• Represent Soter at industry forums and panels across the region
• Engage with regional regulators and industry bodies
• Provide market feedback to influence product development and underwriting strategy
• Help shape the strategic direction of Soter's MENA operation

Requirements

• At least five years of specialty financial lines experience across MENA
• Established relationships with global broking houses (Marsh, Aon, WTW, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to distribute or place lines of business including D&O, PI, Crime, Specie, Slashing, and Cyber
• Working understanding of digital asset risks (custody, DeFi, staking, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and technical literacy
• Fluent English; Arabic is strongly preferred; French is a plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
• Eligibility to obtain a UAE employment visa
• Regular travel across the GCC and wider MENA region expected
