Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify new markets and business opportunities within the marine safety and communication market
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets
• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor activities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business pitches
• Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring profitability
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to deliver client requirements
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions
• Prepare periodic business development reports and forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; MBA is a plus
• Strong knowledge of marine navigation equipment (Radar, ECDIS, GPS/GNSS, AIS, etc.)
• Familiarity with marine internal communication systems (PABX, PA/GA, intercoms)
• Knowledge of marine CCTV, thermal cameras, and vessel security systems
• Understanding of VTS architecture and coastal surveillance systems
• Knowledge of PMR communication solutions (DMR, TETRA, P25)
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and project quotations
