Business Development Manager (Defense)

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through active customer acquisition and building relationships with key decision makers
• Ensure participation in all applicable defense agency RFIs and RFQs
• Collaborate with technical program management, systems engineering, and Tier 1 partners to establish efficient key account teams
• Define and negotiate unit pricing, one-time costs, and terms for development and supply agreements
• Serve as the primary interface to expand Aeva's partnerships with defense agencies
• Maximize customer satisfaction by acting as the voice of the customer within Aeva
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in defense sales
• Established relationships with primes and government agencies
• Required experience in the Defense industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience
