Business Development Strategist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on business development strategy, including identifying target regions, verticals, and companies
• Communicate how global financial market shifts impact the Lightning Network and stablecoin adoption
• Source new potential customers ranging from Lightning-first entrepreneurs to existing bitcoin and non-bitcoin companies
• Support existing customers by acting as a point of contact for technical questions and feature requests
• Write high-quality thought pieces, blog posts, and press releases to drive awareness of the Lightning Network
• Build organic awareness and engagement across community platforms like Slack, Telegram, and Twitter

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, strategy, or finance
• Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work autonomously across different time zones
• Passion for bitcoin, Lightning, and global financial freedom

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of public writing regarding global financial or payments markets
• Experience building relationships with entrepreneurs in emerging markets (LATAM, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa)
• Technical understanding of bitcoin and the Lightning Network
