Business Insights & Analytics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external data to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and emerging patterns
• Develop analyses that inform strategic decisions across commercial, product, and clinical strategy
• Perform commercial and sales analytics including customer lifecycle, win rates, and pipeline quality
• Manage recurring territory planning and account-level insights
• Analyze customer behavior, product utilization, and clinical adoption patterns
• Integrate internal performance data with market and competitive intelligence
• Build executive-level dashboards and scorecards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Maintain and improve key business metrics and performance reporting
• Partner with Salesforce/CRM, Finance, and Data/IT to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• 3–6+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, business intelligence, or related analytical roles
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to translate complex data into recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, etc.)
• Experience working with large or multiple datasets from disparate systems
• Strong presentation and data storytelling skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders
• Strong business judgment and commercial acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device, MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences
• Familiarity with hospital/health system commercial cycles
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Working knowledge of healthcare data privacy (e.g., HIPAA)
• Experience with SQL and Snowflake
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or market analysis
• Experience with automation tools like Power Query, Python, or Power Automate
• MBA or other advanced degree
