About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build data models in SQL with a focus on correctness, clarity, and reusability
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer high-priority business questions from stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data domains and reporting needs
- Contribute to data quality, documentation, and self-service BI capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Intermediate-to-advanced SQL experience (joins, CTEs, window functions)
- Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Looker, DOMO, or Power BI
- Basic statistics proficiency including experiment design and hypothesis testing
- Ability to translate business needs into technical execution and clear presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using dbt to transform, test, and document data
- Experience working with healthcare industry data or regulated data environments
- Experience in a high-growth environment
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of effective data modeling strategies
