Butler Service Desk Agent (Telephone Operator)

Responsibilities

• Answer, record, log, and process all guest calls, requests, and concerns
• Operate telephone switchboard and process wake-up, call forwarding, and conference call requests
• Take and relay messages accurately and activate or deactivate guest room message lights
• Instruct guests on internet access and transfer problems to provider support
• Dispatch bell or valet staff and follow up to confirm guest requests are resolved
• Welcome guests and assist with special requests according to company standards
• Enter and locate information using computers and POS systems
• Lift, carry, and move objects up to 10 pounds

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Clear, professional communication and telephone etiquette
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
