About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and professionalism
- Manage incoming patient calls and maintain departmental KPIs
- Schedule appointments, including no-shows, confirmations, and cancellations
- Handle difficult patients calmly and professionally
- Promote hospital services to patients
- Maintain patient and staff confidentiality
- Manage doctors' calendars and notes
- Adhere to NMC regulations regarding infection control and patient safety
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a contact center agent in a patient-focused environment
- Experience operating multi-line switchboard systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes
