About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Ensure calls to and from the hospital are attended promptly, politely and to the entire satisfaction of the patient
- Answer incoming calls and manage multiple lines simultaneously
- Help patients with various tasks including scheduling appointments, providing information about healthcare services, and confirming insurance details
- Route calls to appropriate healthcare personnel
Requirements
- Experience in call center or patient coordination roles
- Ability to manage multiple lines simultaneously
- Strong communication and professional etiquette
- Knowledge of healthcare service information and insurance verification processes
