About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions
- Prepare and present checks to group contacts for payment
- Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service
- Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver
- Set tables according to event type and service standards
- Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow safety policies
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Requirements
- Ability to maintain professional uniform and personal appearance
- Strong communication skills using professional language
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to adhering to quality expectations and safety standards
