Responsibilities

• Define and execute project financing strategy aligned with the company mission and project pipeline
• Review and refine financing models, capital planning frameworks, and decision-making tools
• Identify, structure, and support closing of financing deals across the project lifecycle
• Design financing approaches that reduce risk for capital providers and accelerate project implementation
• Build and cultivate strategic relationships with investors, financial institutions, family offices, and DFIs
• Lead engagement processes with capital partners from initial outreach through diligence
• Work with internal teams to develop compelling investment narratives and financial models
• Coordinate with the Assessment Team to ensure financing structures align with on-the-ground delivery

Requirements

• Significant experience in project finance, climate finance, structured finance, or investment advisory
• Track record of supporting or closing complex capital deals in climate, energy, or nature-based solutions
• Fluency in capital markets, blended finance, catalytic capital, and impact-linked instruments
• Ability to craft long-term financing visions and execute day-to-day deal progression
• Proactive approach to engaging partners and contributing to deal structuring
• Commitment to climate impact and science-led solutions
