About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales efforts for catering, conference, and social event business
- Respond to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed business
- Identify and proactively solicit new catering and event business
- Maximize revenue through strategic up-selling of event packages and food and beverage offerings
- Manage catering sales revenue and departmental budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event delivery
- Conduct site inspections and planning meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience
- OR a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel Management
- Experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or front desk
