Centralized Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective system to track Payable Accounts for effective Cash Flow Management
• Obtain, date-stamp and file all documents supporting authorized purchases and services (PRs, POs, Delivery Notes, Contracts, etc.)
• Process invoices daily by matching them with authorized supporting documents and receiving records
• Check petty cash vouchers for validity and accuracy and post in the accounting system
• Provide creditors ageing report summaries for Finance and Control Section personnel
• Review and determine all payments due and submit disbursement schedules to Finance Manager
• Prepare cheque payments and submit for final approval by Director of Finance and General Manager
• Prepare month-end report closing of Accounts Payable
• Prepare monthly accruals for goods and services received but not invoiced
• Reconcile month-end inventory book balances to actual physical counts
• Supervise, correct, and demonstrate duties to the assigned workplace standard
• Assist in carrying out quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inventory of operating equipment
• Ensure loyalty of key suppliers to help lower cost per unit
• Assist in implementing and streaming internal control procedures (FOCUS Audit)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry, preferably in the luxury segment
• Service focused with a keen eye for details
• Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Opera, Sun System, or equivalent
