About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and recruit new channel partners such as resellers, VARs, SIs and MSPs
- Develop existing partners through enablement, joint business planning and co-marketing
- Own distributor relationships, transactional flow, margin and incentive structures
- Define and run partner program mechanics: tiers, deal registration, margin model and enablement
- Work cross-functionally with direct sales, marketing and product
- Carry and forecast a channel-sourced and influenced pipeline
Requirements
- 8+ years in channel, partner or alliances sales
- Track record of building partner relationships that produced revenue
- Experience standing up or growing partner program mechanics
- Strong commercial instincts and partner economics negotiation
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure, open source or enterprise software
