About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent quality and timely output
- Prepare and present dishes according to recipe standards and plating guidelines
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Sous Chef on ordering and rotation
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout service
- Train and guide Commis Chefs within the section
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a restaurant or lounge
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and HACCP standards
- Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
