Chef De Partie (Bakery)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of breads, pastries, and bakery products according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, texture, and presentation of all products
• Assist with the daily preparation and production requirements of the bakery section
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and sanitation at all times
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products
• Follow recipes, portion control, and production schedules accurately
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all bakery ingredients
• Assist in training and guiding junior team members when required
• Contribute to the development of new products and seasonal offerings when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar bakery role within a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or reputable bakery
• Strong knowledge of bakery production techniques, including bread, dough, and pastry preparation
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Creative approach with a passion for bakery and product presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is preferred
