Chef De Partie (Pastry)

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations and production of the assigned pastry section
• Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked products
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation
• Organize and maintain proper mise en place for smooth service
• Supervise and support Commis Chefs and junior team members
• Monitor ingredient quality and freshness
• Assist with banquet, event, and buffet requirements
• Minimize food wastage and support cost-control
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with HACCP

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar pastry position
• Experience in 5-star luxury hotels or high-end pastry operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of pastry production and baking techniques
• Ability to supervise junior culinary team members
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Culinary or Pastry qualification from a recognized institution preferred
