About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive CFCC considerations across business activities including retail banking, corporate banking, strategic investment, data strategy, and digital assets
- Support the adoption of governance models across regulated entities and oversee CFCC frameworks
- Manage the CFCC relationship with SCV and the Board through the Executive Risk Committee
- Lead the CFCC team and support the Data Protection Officer in implementing data management and privacy frameworks
- Support the MLRO in delivering the financial crime risk framework, covering AML, CTF, Sanctions, and ABC
- Manage regulatory relationships, including inspections and identification of regulatory reform initiatives
- Provide advice to stakeholders on the interpretation of regulatory expectations, laws, and best practices
- Lead and develop the CFCC team, ensuring competency and adequate resourcing
Requirements
- Over 13 years of hands-on experience in financial crime, compliance, and regulatory risk management
- Strong understanding of the financial services sector and digital environment regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience in CFCC risk management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong writing and presentation skills
