About the Company
Arootah is a talent solutions firm purpose-built for the alternative investment industry. We advise and we execute, covering the full talent spectrum from entry to exit across five services: Talent Acquisition, Fractional Leadership, Talent Development, Retention & Compensation, and Transition.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and optimize operating infrastructure across alternative investment firms
- Oversee front-to-back office functions, including operations, finance, compliance, and technology
- Drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and cost optimization initiatives
- Partner with CIOs, founders, and senior leadership on firm strategy and execution
- Lead organizational design, vendor selection, and cross-functional alignment
- Manage growth, transformation, or turnaround initiatives
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Chief Operating Officer or equivalent senior leadership role within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or family office
- Deep understanding of investment firm operations and infrastructure
- Proven track record of scaling businesses, building teams, and driving execution
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic environments
