About the Company
Arootah is a talent solutions firm purpose-built for the alternative investment industry. We advise and we execute, covering the full talent spectrum from entry to exit across five services: Talent Acquisition, Fractional Leadership, Talent Development, Retention & Compensation, and Transition.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, project-based leadership across technology infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives
- Build, modernize, and optimize technology infrastructure for alternative investment firms
- Oversee systems architecture, cloud strategy, and enterprise technology operations
- Drive technology transformation, automation, and operational efficiency
- Partner with investment, operations, and leadership teams to align technology with business objectives
- Lead vendor selection, systems integration, and technology governance
- Manage technology risk, business continuity, and data security frameworks
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Chief Technology Officer or equivalent senior technology leadership role
- Experience within a hedge fund, private equity firm, family office, or financial services organization
- Deep understanding of investment management technology infrastructure and operating environments
- Proven track record of leading technology transformation and scaling enterprise systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic environments
What we look for
- CTO or senior technology leadership experience
- Financial services or alternative investment industry background
- Expertise in technology infrastructure and systems architecture
- Experience in technology transformation and scaling
