About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and lead DTID's technology strategy and roadmap across emerging technologies
- Lead emerging technology teams and standards-development activities
- Oversee design, testing and deployment of Proof-of-Concepts, pilots and solutions
- Ensure quality, security, scalability and documentation standards
- Develop strategic technology partnerships with institutions and governments
- Represent DTID at conferences, forums and external engagements
Requirements
- Strong practical proficiency in blockchain development and programming
- Strong strategic and technical leadership capability
- Experience leading multidisciplinary, internationally distributed technology teams
- At least 5 years in DLT/Blockchain, AI, machine learning or data science
- Strong software-development and technology architecture capability
- Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing AI or machine-learning solutions
- Knowledge of climate change, sustainability and digital policy
- Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Portfolio of open-source projects or deployed technology solutions
