Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

• Define technology vision and target stack for $5B+/year operations
• Manage a diverse portfolio including cash delivery stacks, legacy migrations, and cybersecurity
• Build and grow an exceptional technology organization from 15 to 30+ members
• Own technical direction, quality bar, and architectural decisions
• Serve as a member of the executive team and partner with the CEO and VP Product
• Travel approximately 4-6 times per year to countries of operation

Requirements

• Proven record of identifying, hiring, and developing excellent engineering leaders
• Ability to evaluate major designs and pressure-test architecture
• Strong business judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity
• AI-first mindset with experience moving teams from experimentation to measured use
• Embody and promote organizational values

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payments, or humanitarian response
• Experience with financial controls, fraud risk, or identity management
• Experience operating across multiple countries in infrastructure-constrained environments
• Experience leading both modern product engineering and enterprise technology
