About the Company

Blackbird Health is clinician-founded, owned, and operated by dedicated professionals. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, taking a whole-child approach to address the root causes of challenges in pediatric mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide parent-based treatment using the SPACE model to treat children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, OCD, and related problems
  • Work with parents and caregivers to change their behavior, reduce accommodation, and respond more supportively to their child's anxiety
  • Manage a caseload of patients navigating separation anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, panic disorder, phobias, and ARFID

Requirements

  • Active license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, SISW, or LMSW)
  • Completed SPACE training and official SPACE certification
  • 1+ year of experience with children and adolescent patients or child development
  • 1+ year of telehealth or virtual setting experience
  • Availability for daytime hours (8am ET and beyond) on weekdays and/or weekends
  • Minimum commitment of 8 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience treating childhood and adolescent anxiety, OCD, or related conditions
  • Comfort working primarily with parents and caregivers in a parent-based treatment model
