CI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and proactively improve GitHub Actions-based CI pipelines
• Triage and resolve flaky tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end suites
• Support ongoing releases and improve the release process
• Act as a first responder to emergent CI infrastructure issues
• Support product engineers using Cypress, Jest, and Clojure-based frameworks
• Manage test infrastructure across various databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery
• Document and communicate CI health and best practices asynchronously

Requirements

• Professional experience with CI/CD systems
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently in a globally distributed team
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions or comparable CI platforms
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools like Cypress and Jest
• Comfort with Docker and containerization
• Solid shell scripting skills (Bash)
• Experience diagnosing and fixing flaky tests in large suites
• Strong asynchronous written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Clojure and TypeScript
• Experience operating cloud data warehouses or analytical databases
• Experience building and supporting software release pipelines
