About the role
Responsibilities
- Answer, record, log, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
- Operate telephone switchboard station
- Process guest requests for wake-up calls, screening calls, and conference calls
- Monitor busy or unanswered lines and update callers on status
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and legibly
- Instruct guests on how to access the internet
- Test communications equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to move, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Proficiency in using computers and/or POS systems
