About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate courses in clinical and general psychology
- Supervise student graduation projects and clinical field training placements
- Maintain an active research agenda and publish scholarly work
- Contribute to curriculum design for the planned Master's Program in Clinical Psychology
- Support academic quality assurance and CAA accreditation requirements
- Build partnerships with healthcare centers and community mental health initiatives
Requirements
- PhD in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology from an accredited university
- Expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based interventions
- Strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Proficiency in psychometric and quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Track record of university-level teaching and field training supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid UAE clinical license (MOHAP, DHA or DoH) or immediate eligibility
- Experience with institutional accreditation frameworks and postgraduate curriculum design
