About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement AWS networking and connectivity services
- Deploy VPC resources including subnets, NACLs and security groups
- Implement AWS Direct Connect and on-premises to AWS hybrid networking
- Enable VPC flow logs and network visibility tooling
- Assist with cost analysis, capacity planning and migration plans
- Advise clients on networking changes needed to connect to AWS
Requirements
- 5+ years predominantly AWS cloud networking experience, AWS within last 2 years
- 3+ years delivering network or cloud infrastructure in customer-facing environments
- 1+ year supporting cloud workloads (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud security, especially for networking
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with structured change-management and documentation processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Network automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible)
- Compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
- AWS Advanced Networking, Solutions Architect or SysOps certifications
- CCNA, CCNP, PCCSE or PCNSE networking certifications
