Cloud Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing cloud governance across AWS and GCP
• Building reusable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Creating self-service capabilities for engineers
• Owning resource governance, visibility, and billing data
• Developing reusable security primitives and secrets management
• Owning cloud-level network and operational primitives
• Establishing cloud engineering best practices through documentation and tooling

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud governance, platform engineering, or operations
• Experience operating production systems at scale and carrying on-call
• Proven experience with significant migrations or rearchitecting account topologies
• Proficiency in at least one systems language like Go or Rust
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, globally distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS IAM/SSO and the Well-Architected Framework
• Experience collaborating with auditors on compliance requirements
• Experience managing IP address management, DNS, and service-limit alerting
