Responsibilities

• Refine the technical thesis for scalable, durable, and effective pest control without off-target effects
• Develop commercial strategy including IP strategy, differentiation, and competition analysis
• Define value proposition, market sizing, and techno-economics
• Formulate regulatory strategy and positioning
• Lead fundraising strategy and pitching to secure Series A
• Recruit advisory and co-founding team members
• Fulfill investment criteria for the Investment Committee

Requirements

• Previous Founder experience
• Previous C-suite experience
• Previous fundraising experience from VCs
• Commercial and Business Development expertise
• Proven track record of building and leading successful teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent industry R&D expertise in genomics, molecular biology, entomology, plant pathology, or virology
• Experience with biological modes of action (RNA design, formulation, delivery)
• Knowledge of semiochemicals or microbial biocontrols
• Experience in translational execution from discovery to field efficacy
• Experience managing CRO/CDMO programs or regulatory submissions (EPA/EU)
