About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow print and digital advertising revenue and event partnerships
- Build relationships with technology companies, brands, agencies and industry stakeholders
- Manage and grow a client portfolio for long-term partnerships
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and advertising packages to maximise revenue
- Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams on sales initiatives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity for new opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics
- Represent the portfolio at industry events and conferences
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in media, publishing or B2B
- Strong network within the technology industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet revenue targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or a related field
