About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook delicious dishes following recipes and quality standards
- Master mise en place and keep station prepared before service
- Deliver consistent quality, flavor, and presentation for every guest
- Manage station organization, stock, and cleanliness
- Minimize food waste and manage stock efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
- Support fellow chefs and guide Commis 2 and 3 team members
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
- Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a passion for hospitality
