About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Manage food thawing processes and maintain accurate food logs
- Monitor food quality, quantity, and portioning
- Communicate with Chef regarding excess food items and menu availability
- Assist management with training, scheduling, and coaching employees
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and hygiene policies
- Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets
Requirements
- Prior butcher experience
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
