Commis 1 - Butcher

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Manage food thawing processes and maintain accurate food logs
• Monitor food quality, quantity, portioning, and presentation
• Communicate with the Chef regarding excess food items and with F&B staff regarding menu specials or stock levels
• Assist management with training, scheduling, and coaching employees
• Adhere to all company safety, security, and hygiene policies
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets

Requirements

• Prior butcher experience
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
